2022 Final NFL Mock Draft
Last run of my NFL mock draft for 2022
Below you will see my final mock for 2022. Typically, my rule is no trades. Chaos cannot be predicted. But this year I’m breaking that rule. This draft is going to be chaotic, and there are going to be trades. Pretending that isn’t going to happen, to me, is a fools errand.
There are some trades in my mock that I think make sense, and are mildly likely. They also get the players in the right spots both in terms of teams and draft position. Roast me. Enjoy.
1 - Jaguars - Travon Walker, Edge, Georgia
2 - Lions - Kayvon Thibodeaux, Edge, Oregon
3 - Giants - Aidan Hutchinson, Edge, Michigan
Giants and Houston first-round picks are almost identical in points, maybe Giants get a third or something small back as well. We know Giants want to move back from seven and Texans up from 13.
4 - Jets - Ikem Ekwonu, OT, NC State
5 - Texans - Derek Stingley, CB, LSU
6 - Chiefs - Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama
Chiefs two picks plus a Day 2 selection get them into the top-10. Gives Carolina a chance to meet all of their needs — win-win. KC has 12 picks this year.
7 - Texans - Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio State
8 - Falcons - Jermaine Johnson, Edge, Florida State
9 - Seahawks - Sauce Gardner, CB, Cincinnati
10 - Jets - Drake London, WR, USC
11 - Commanders - Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State
12 - Saints - Charles Cross, OT, Mississippi State
Small price to move up here and lock in a tackle they’ve reportedly been very high on.

16 - Vikings - Trent McDuffie, CB, Washington
